November 7th Tuesday 10:30 a.m. –Gallery Visit
We will visit a gallery and talk with the owner. We can ask her those questions we always wanted to ask . Questions such as: how to collect art, how she chooses artists for her gallery, etc. etc.

November 14th Tuesday 1:15 p.m.- Artist Visit in Studio/Home
We will talk with a very accomplished ceramic artist who designs functional art pieces, such as tables, chairs, benches, tiles. We will visit in her studio, which is on the beautiful grounds of her secluded west county home. She also has a nice art collection.

November 21st Tuesday 10:a.m- Collector
We will visit the home of a successful executive director of a large stock company who has the largest collection of art we will see in St. Louis. There are some real surprises that we will never forget. This is a must see.

November 28th Tuesday 10:30 a.m.-Collector
Another terrific visit to a large downtown condo full of wonderful art collected by a young, bright couple who live and work downtown. The art, views, furnishings make up for a spectacular visit.

December 4th Tuesday 1:30 p.m.-Three Artists
We will visit three painters . We will view their work in their studio and gallery . We will find out what inspires them and what their background is. These three artists happen to be all related.

July 10th 2007- 1:00 -Tuesday-we will visit an outstanding WATERCOLORIST Carol Carter.

July 24th. 2007 1:00 Tuesday - COLLECTOR - This is a beautiful, colorful home in Old Towne, Clayton..  The owner will show us around and talk about her collections. She is friends with Christo and his wife and joined them in setting up their art.  Lots to see and lots of questions to ask. 

August 7, 2007 - Tuesday - Fishing Creek Galleries.  We will visit Kevan Garber who was the head printmaker at Washington University for 10 years.  He has done prints for many of the nationally known artists and he is going to sell them if we so disire.

August 14th. - 1:00 Tuesday - George Denninger - a digital artist....something we all should get educated about as it is now very accepted in the world of art.  And he is a furniture maker.  fun, fun, fun

August 21, 2007 - Tuesday - this is one of the best portrait artist in this city.  she was very hard to get and i am very excited to share her with you all.  She has done the portraits for the Women of Achievement, for the Cardinals, etc, etc. What an amazing afternoon this will be..

SEPTEMBER 25TH-TUESDAY-1:00 MAD ART GALLERY

This is a 1930’s-era Art Deco-style former St. Louis Police Station.

It is now renovated and has a 3800 sq. foot gallery space with state of the art lighting. We will see the cellblocks that housed infamous prisoners. There are graffiti that dates back to the early 1940’s. And of course, we will see a terrific art show displayed and juried for the Women’s Caucus for Art.

OCTOBER 9TH.-TUESDAY-1:00  ADAM FOSTER-JEWELER

 Every single piece of jewelry is created by Adam.  He is very unique as he really caters to his clients. He will fly anywhere (and he does) to deliver or talk with a client.  This is a very young man who has made quite a niche for him.  He will show us his studio, explain how he works, and of course see his work.  It is absolutely beautiful work. These are one of a kind pieces.

OCTOBER 16TH. –TUESDAY-1:00  RICK DUNN AND KIRSTEN JACOBSEN        

 These are two wonderful artists who create beautiful ceramics. We will be able to watch Rick demonstrate to us how to” throw” a bowl. Their work is just beautiful. Simple, colorful, meaningful and something I think we all walk home with.  This beautiful work will be very affordable.

 OCTOBER 23rd. –Tuesday-1:00  COLLECTOR AND BEAUTIFUL HOME

 This is a man who defines the word “style”. He is the maven interior designer of St. Louis an art collector and a former nightclub owner. His art is exquisite. We will see art by Joel Shapiro (no relation), Donald Judd, Brice Marden, Andy Warhol, Dave Flaven, Julian Schnable, Peter Halley,Basquiat, etc. And his home on Portland Place is not to be believed…including the furniture. You all know I cannot mention names to everybody who gets these mailings . I will let you know when you sign up as I keep the names, addresses, etc. private.

OCTOBER 30th.TUESDAY-1: 00  COLLECTOR  & BEAUTIFUL CONDO

Another really big collector in St.Louis. We will see lots of contemporary art by such artists as Jim Dine, DeKooning, Jeff Koons, Stella, Chuck Close, Oldenburg, etc etc  Also lots of  beautiful art glass by Chihuly, Marioni, etc. And of course his condo is  a very beautiful condo overlooking the park on Skinker.  The view alone is worth seeing this collectors condo.

2008

April 8th. & April 10th. 1:00-Diane Katzmans studio- a jeweler who sells at Saks and Neiman Marcus…AND she is giving us 30% OFF!
 

April 22 and April 24th. –1:00- we are going to tour Neiman Marcus. They have fantastic art on their walls and we will f;ind out why they collect, etc. maybe we can lunch first at the Zodiac Room?
 

May 6th. ONLY-1:00 – (both groups will attend together) we will visit a fabulous home in clayton built by a young couple who love art
 

May 13th. & May 15 – 12:30-we will meet at the studio of Billy O…a very popular artist who even has a book published of his work.  Who is Billy O?  lets find out.
 

May 20th & May 22-1:00 – Jennifer Weigel – a PERFORMANCE ARTIST..what is performance art? Well, we will meet this wonderful artist and learn all about her art.  We will view her art and of course, ask questions of her.
